Thank you for sharing your experience which is very similar to mine. We had our beloved pup for more than 5 years but had to surrender him for the same reason, to keep other children who might come into our home safe. It has only been 1day but I haven’t been able to stop crying. Just as you said, I couldn’t risk anyone else getting hurt, but I feel so heartbroken over losing him.
