I’m so sorry.
I can relate to everything.
We have lived this and more for over 6 years.
The only med that helped was Clonidine, but the effects are short-term and only help for 2-3 hours. And, unfortunately if our dog was severely triggered, it didn’t help.
Due to her unpredictable nature, and the fact we have 3 grandchildren, we had no choice but to relinquish her back to the rescue we adopted her from.
This is pet loss, in a way that feels worse than death.
I’m never going to get over it.

I need help dealing with the recent loss of our dog, through relinquishment to the rescue we adopted her from at 8 weeks.
We had no choice.
She’s an extremely loving and loyal dog, but her reactive and unpredictable nature could not exist in our home safely, as I care for 3 young grandchildren.
It’s devastating.
I knew it would be hard; however, the grief is unlike any I’ve ever experienced.
