Comment on Grieving the loss of a guinea pig by Liz.
Thank you for sharing. I just lost mine on Monday. Mr. Cappuccino (Cappy). I noticed little pooping, eating and he was more lethargic than normal on Saturday evening but didn’t think much of it on Sunday. He refused a lemon, which he loves, and he wasn’t purring like usual. He was also puffed out – which usually means something isn’t quite right. I have massive guilt for joking with him that I could love you to death. He was only 3.5 years old. So young. He had GI stasis/ a bloated belly and his stomach and small intestines were not in the right place. Im afraid my words came true and it was my fault. This article helps, but I am so broken. He gave me purpose and so many cuddles and love. I will miss him immensely.
