I am glad that the article resonated with you, Lori. Cooper was clearly much loved and I hope that and other fond memories help to bring you some solace tomorrow. Shailen.

Coping with anniversaries and special days when a pet dies
Hi Renae,

I am glad that you and Hajime have one another. You are definitely not alone in your memory experience about your departed cat and anniversaries often creep up on us. I am sorry to hear about the lack of support from the humans close to you. If you use Facebook, our private group is one very valuable place to get support and comfort from like-minded pet guardians.

Wishing you all the best and much love to Hajime,

Shailen

Grieving the loss of a rabbit
Hi,

Sorry to hear this.

The most immediate and best source of support that we can suggest is to join The Ralph Site private Facebook group. 24/7 support from pet carers who understand. Please consider it.

Thinking of you.

Dealing with flashbacks after the death of your pet
Sorry to hear this, Maddie. I hope that Betsy continues to recover. Hopefully, when you have her back home, time will do its magic and you will start to have fewer flashbacks or guilt about what happened. It is very difficult to keep them safe 100% of the time while allowing them to enjoy life too. I believe that Betsy knows how much you love her and will not have any bad feelings towards you. Thinking of your family at this time.
